Description

This Cajun Garlic Butter Steak over Creamy Parmesan Linguine recipe is a flavorful steak dinner idea that combines juicy Cajun-spiced steak and rich garlic butter parmesan pasta. A perfect weeknight indulgence or date night dinner, this easy recipe blends bold, creamy, and comforting flavors. Great for fans of pasta, steak, and Cajun cuisine.

Ingredients

1 lb steak (ribeye, New York strip, or sirloin)

2 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

8 oz linguine

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Season steak generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side. Let it rest once done.

3. Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.

5. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer, then stir in parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.

6. Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.

7. Toss cooked linguine in the parmesan sauce until fully coated.

8. Slice rested steak and serve over the creamy pasta.

9. Garnish with extra parmesan or herbs if desired.

Notes

This dish is best served fresh with the pasta hot and creamy.

Use pasta water to loosen the sauce if it thickens too much.

Letting the steak rest before slicing ensures juiciness and flavor.
