Ingredients
12 slices baguette
4 oz goat cheese
1 cup fresh blackberries
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)
Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick rounds and lay them on a baking sheet.
2. Brush both sides of the bread slices with olive oil and bake for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
3. In a small bowl, gently mash about half of the blackberries with a fork to release their juices.
4. Spread a layer of goat cheese onto each toasted baguette slice.
5. Top with a spoonful of the mashed blackberries and press a whole blackberry or two on top for texture.
6. Drizzle each crostini with honey and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
7. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves if using.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy while crisp.
Notes
Use fresh blackberries when possible for the best texture.
Toast the baguette slices ahead to save prep time.
Customize with nuts or balsamic glaze for added flair.
