Description

Creamy Baked Chicken Alfredo Stuffed Shells are the ultimate comfort food. Ingredients

12 ounces jumbo pasta shells

2 cups shredded cooked chicken

1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

2 cups Alfredo sauce

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

2. Cook jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions, reducing the cook time by 1 minute. Drain and cool slightly.

3. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, 1/2 cup Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

4. Spread 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

5. Fill each cooked shell with the chicken mixture and place them open-side up in the dish.

6. Pour remaining Alfredo sauce over the stuffed shells.

7. Sprinkle remaining 1 cup mozzarella and 1/2 cup Parmesan over the top.

8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

9. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.

10. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

This recipe is perfect for leftover rotisserie chicken.

Add spinach to the filling for extra color and nutrition.

Use homemade or high-quality jarred Alfredo for best flavor.
